Tandy and Glen were married at the Johannesburg South Africa Temple on a glorious Friday afternoon. We had been worried about the rain. The rain had followed us all the way from Springs to Jozi but when we arrived in Parktown the sun was out and I was very relieved. It was a perfect afternoon. It was the first time that I had met Tandy and Glen. I could immediately sense their deep love for each other and I looked forward to photographing them the next day at the Hertford Hotel in Lanseria.
Saturday dawned and another beautiful day greeted us.The hall for Tandy and Glen's reception was a photographer's dream. Light and bright with natural light streaming in from every window.The hall had been decorated by Justine Calteaux and the elegance of the room was straight out of a magazine. Besides the wonder of the venue was something more beautiful, something timeless and precious.....the love I saw as Tandy and Glen said their vows and looked into each other's eyes. Thank you for allowing me the honor of photographing that. It is what it is all about.
